Oceans For Everyone

Every Jamaican child deserves access to the sea.

Oceans For Everyone is a Jamaican nonprofit dedicated to giving children free boat trips and ocean experiences, opening doors to confidence, curiosity, and possibility. We believe the ocean is not a luxury—it is part of who we are as an island people.

Founded by a Jamaican maritime captain and marine biologist, Oceans For Everyone was created from a lifelong connection to the sea. From early experiences boating in Europe to captaining research vessels for NOAA and expedition ships around the world, the ocean has shaped our founder’s life, purpose, and career.

Seeing the joy his daughter experiences at sea made one thing clear: all kids deserve a taste of the joy, wonder and power of the sea. And, a single exposure can change a life, just like it did his.

That is why Oceans For Everyone exists—to ensure Jamaican children, especially those whose families cannot afford boat trips, have the chance to explore the ocean, discover new possibilities, and learn more about who they are.

We are paying it forward—bringing the ocean to Jamaica’s kids, one boat trip at a time.
